Internship

In the summer of 2023, for three weeks in July, I had the opportunity to participate in an internship in Ebisu, Tokyo at Fellows Inc. Fellows inc. is a creative consultant company and run several aspects of their company involving a variety of creative endeavors such as film, food, and photography.

During my time there, I was tasked with the translation of several aspects of their websites as well as their company pamphlet outlining the company in general. I also was tasked with running a general business English class. In which some members of the company participated in.

During my time there, I also participated in work lunches, and post-work events intended for team bonding and creating a sense of community within the workspace. I also got to go to a work convention at the Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba, Tokyo. I got to see how contract workers advertised themselves and how people interact at these sort of events.

I enjoyed my time during the internship, and I believe it proved very valuable to what I want to do with my future career. The people I met worked hard and also created a welcoming event, and it motivated me to do the best I could during my internship. I was extremely fortunate to intern at Fellows Inc. and I hope to connect with the company again in the future.
